Disciple Making Conference
November 1-2, 2024 at Open Country Farm
Making new disciples of Jesus and helping them to thrive is a challenging topic. Pastors and Christian leaders face a host of challenges. We all wonder if there is a better way. The truth is – there is, if we’re willing to take risks and experiment.
We believe that the Holy Spirit is at work in the lives of people, even before they make a decision to follow Jesus. What if we could train people to come alongside the Holy Spirit in this work and use that momentum to launch good news movements? If you feel like you have the willingness to boldly explore old ideas, then please join us on November 1st for a day of workshopping ways to empower people you lead to make new disciples of Jesus, releasing transformation.
This meeting is being sponsored by 24:14, Outreach Canada, The Western District of the Alliance Church and Novo Canada, with the gracious support of Open Country Farm.
Day 1: Exploring Effective Disciple Making Pathways Disciple Makers Conference
A day away acknowledging the problems, exploring potential solutions, activating simple tools, facilitated by people already pursuing these pathways in our context.
Video Teaching will be uploaded early November
Day 2: MAVERICKS Better Together
“Then those who feared the Lord talked with each other, and the Lord listened and heard….” Malachi 3:16
For those of us seeking to help reverse the disciple making crisis in Canada through the pursuit of Disciple Making Movement principles and practice (DMM / CPM i.e. DBS), we need community with fellow mavericks. Join us for a day of connecting to care for one another, refresh our focus, learn from one another, and seek the Lord’s direction for how we might collaborate as one body in our region.
